Management. Economics. Informatics (M.E.I.) (hereinafter - scientific journal ‘M.E.I.’) is created on the basis of the Institute of Distance and Additional Education of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education ‘National Research University ’MPEI” (NRU “MPEI”). The founder of the journal is the National Research University “MPEI”.

The Journal was established in 2025.

The main purpose of the publication is to cover and discuss topical and strategically important problems for socio-economic and technological development of the Russian Federation.

The priority tasks of the publication are:

  • creation of a platform for discussion of topical scientific problems in the spheres of management, economics, energy and informatics, including the results of dissertation research for the degrees of candidate and doctor of sciences;
  • presentation of the results of original scientific research corresponding to the scientific directions of the journal;
  • popularization of scientific knowledge in the spheres of economics, management, informatics, technical sciences;
  • ensuring a high professional level of published materials on the basis of their scientific review.

The periodicity of the journal issues is 1 time per quarter.

The scientific journal “M.E.I.” adheres to the policy of open access. Published articles are available on the Internet for searching, downloading, reading, copying, distributing, printing. Thus the edition contributes to the availability and dissemination of knowledge in the field of management, economics and informatics for all interested parties. Journal materials are available under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

Analysis of the elements of the logistics supply chain of a trading company in the textile sector of light industry.

Abstract

Introduction. The article discusses the concept of a logistics system and its constituent elements, characteristic of a trading company engaged in the sale of light industry goods were given.

Materials and methods. When writing the article, scientific works of domestic and foreign authors related to the topic under study were used. Their analysis, self–analysis based on the investigated object - «DVA NASTROENIYA» Limited Liability Company, as well as the systematization of the collected information. Methods of theoretical generalization, comparison and systematization.

Research Findings. As a result, the information was analyzed and the characteristics of the elements of the logistics system of a trading company engaged in the sale of light industry goods were given.

Discussion and conclusion. The analysis and characterization of the elements of the logistics system of a trading company provides an opportunity for a detailed study of the impact of management tools to increase the competitiveness of the organization in the market.

Comprehensive development of a model and a project management tool in landscape design based on artificial intelligence

Abstract

Introduction. Despite the dynamic development of digital technologies, which ensures an increase in the efficiency of project management, the issues of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the work of landscape design organizations have not yet received detailed and in-depth scientific understanding.

The relevance of our research is dictated by the need to generate new approaches to project management based on the use of intelligent algorithms. In this case, technologies can both process large amounts of data and identify hidden patterns, as well as offer optimal solutions. The development of an adaptive model and a formalized management tool is a top priority for improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of project activities, including due to special flexibility and taking into account modern challenges.

The purpose of this article is to comprehensively develop a model and a project management tool in the field of landscape design using artificial intelligence methods.

Materials and methods. The study focuses on project management processes in landscape design. An analysis of existing approaches to management was conducted, their weaknesses were identified. As a result, a management model was developed that uses the capabilities of artificial intelligence and allows for a comprehensive assessment of the project's effectiveness. To test the model's performance, a pilot project was implemented, during which methods of system and comparative analysis were used.

Research findings. The proposed model allowed us to significantly optimize the project implementation process. The deadlines were reduced by 20%, and the number of errors decreased by an impressive 68%. This allowed us to save 2.7 million rubles and reduce the team size by a third. The improvement in the quality of the final product was 15%. The integral formula confirmed the high efficiency of introducing artificial into project management.

Discussion and conclusion. The use of artificial intelligence in project management has demonstrated its effectiveness, as evidenced by the improvement of key indicators and the increase in the quality of results. The proposed model can be successfully adapted to related areas, allowing for more informed decisions. Further research is aimed at expanding the functionality of the model and including additional metrics. The work emphasizes the need for digital transformation in project management.

CONSISTENT APPLICATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT METHODS AS A WAY TO IMPROVE PRODUCT QUALITY IN THE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Abstract

Introduction. The article is devoted to the search for ways to prevent the recurrence of production problems based on an in-depth analysis of processes and consistent application of quality management tools. The purpose of the study is to develop measures to reduce production defects, implement a quality plan and enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise.

Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, general scientific (observation, analysis, synthesis) and specific research methods ("8D", expert assessments, Poka-Yoke, FMEA methodology) were used. The object of the study is the production process of the extrusion shop of LLC Electroresheniya-P. The subject of the study is to study the possibility of reducing the severity of the problem of re–increasing the proportion of defects in the production of flexible corrugated pipes.

Research results. The implementation of the developed measures made it possible to reduce production defects and improve the quality of products manufactured by Electroresheniya-P LLC. Consistent application of quality management methods has contributed to improving the accuracy of the technological process parameters and reducing the influence of the human factor.

Discussion and conclusion. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using the company's experience related to the consistent application of quality management methods to improve production processes.

Digitalization of the global financial market as a way of effective management

Abstract

Introduction. With the beginning of the improvement of modern innovative technologies, new needs and values have emerged in the conduct of the activities of organizations, as well as the entire regional and global economy, in order to improve the situation of society, simplify complex operations and introduce new scientific concepts aimed at solving inter-regional problems for accelerated market development. The process of market development is steadily associated with an increase in financial transactions. Therefore, studying aspects of the global financial market in the context of digitalization is acquiring enormous importance, not only for modern, but also for future generations.

Materials and methods. The research materials included the modern theory of management of innovative financial activities, scientific works devoted to the institutional digital conditions, legislative acts and regulatory materials regulating regional innovative financial activities. The research methods were the principles of a systematic approach and general scientific principles of classification, modeling methods were used and the results of expert assessments were presented.

Research Findings. The article defines the conceptual framework of the digital economy, analyzes certain types of participants in the global financial market, examines key players in the global financial market, and discusses variations in the definition of the concept of "digitalization," noting that a legislative definition has not yet been established due to its comprehensiveness. The article also establishes the parameters of a developed digital economy and examines the impact of digitalization factors on the banking system.

Discussion and conclusion. To confirm the hypothesis about the impact of digitalization on the subjective perception of the digital economy and to obtain the necessary data for assessing and analyzing the level of digitalization in Russia, a survey was conducted among respondents from the digital economy, banking, and stock market sectors in various countries. The results of this survey are presented in the study, and it also examines the areas that are characteristic of institutions in many countries regarding the impact of digitalization on the banking system.

PARALLEL IMPORTS AS A STRATEGY TO OVERCOME SANCTIONS IN RUSSIA

Abstract

Introduction. The research on the theme of parallel imports as a method becomes especially significant in the context of the current international economic situation. The imposition of sanctions against Russia has initiated the search for reliable mechanisms to ensure the stability of the domestic market, particularly through the implementation of parallel imports.

The article analyzes the mechanism of parallel import as a means of maintaining the stability of the Russian economy in response to international sanctions. It explores the logistics and statistics of the growth in volumes of parallel import goods into Russia. The author also examines the main aspects of legal regulation of parallel importation and the execution of customs control with respect to this category of goods, emphasizing the difficulties associated with controlling the import of counterfeit products and the need for a balance between the economic and legal interests of rights holders, market participants, and the state as a whole.

The relevance of the research is determined by the need to find sustainable mechanisms to ensure the stability of the domestic market in the face of external economic pressure and the mass withdrawal of foreign companies from the Russian market.

The scientific novelty lies in the comprehensive assessment of parallel imports as a tool for economic sustainability, including logistical, legal and institutional analysis against the background of current economic conditions.

The purpose of the study is to analyze parallel imports as a strategic tool for adapting the Russian economy to sanctions restrictions.

To achieve this goal, the following tasks are being solved:

– to study the scale and dynamics of parallel imports to Russia;

– to identify the main logistics routes and intermediary countries;

– analysis of the regulatory framework governing the parallel import mechanism;

– identification of key risks and limitations associated with the operation of this mechanism.

The object of the study is Russia's foreign economic activity in the context of sanctions.

The subject of the study is the mechanism of parallel imports and its impact on the stability of the domestic commodity market.

Materials and methods. The methodological framework of the research consisted of general scientific and special methods (analysis of the regulatory framework, comparative legal and system-structural analysis, content analysis of publications and official sources, as well as analysis of statistical data).

Results of the study. The geography and structure of parallel imports, key intermediary countries and supply volumes have been established. The main directions of legal regulation have been identified, as well as problematic aspects – the growth of counterfeiting, gaps in customs control, and a shortage of warehouse infrastructure.

Discussion and conclusion. Parallel imports are seen as a temporary but effective measure to ensure the availability of goods under sanctions. Despite the institutional and legal risks, the mechanism demonstrates effectiveness under the condition of flexible regulation and adaptation of the logistics system. The development of the regulatory framework and interdepartmental control is a key area for increasing the sustainability of this instrument.
